Spring has sprung in the Principality of Monaco with a series of new culinary offerings in April for the gastronomic traveler. From culinary packages at Monaco’s top hotels to cooking classes and newly opened restaurants, travelers can find their perfect pairing from the more than 170 restaurants and fine eateries (five of which boast a combined eight Michelin stars) that are dotted throughout the Principality.

Hotel de Paris, the palatial flagship of Monte-Carlo SBM Hotels, offers inspired cooking classes at Le Grill, taught by one of the hotel’s talented cadre of chefs, for intimate groups of 4 – 10. Its three elegant restaurants include the 3 Michelin-starred Louis XV-Alain Ducasse with seasonal offerings.  Another Michelin Star signature restaurant, not to miss, is Le Vistamar, the signature gourmet restaurant at Hotel Hermitage with menus by noted Chef Joël Garault.

The seaside Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort has a new gourmet menu at Blue Bay, the resort’s signature restaurant featuring inventive cuisine by Chef Marcel Ravin. Cooking lessons in the resort’s Las Brisas summer restaurant kitchens from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. are for up to 7 people, available March 14, 21, 28, and April 4 and 11. Blue Bay reopens March 12 for dinner with a new Escapades menu offering three- and four-course options.

Try out the newly opened Nobu - Nobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa, the acclaimed and highly influential celebrity Chef and owner of Nobu restaurants just opened his newest Nobu restaurant at the Fairmont Monte Carlo.

Culinary travelers, looking for a light meal, should try out the much respected, Michelin-starred Chef Joël Robuchon’s ODYSSEY, an outdoor, poolside restaurant, which opened last spring at the Hotel Metropole – is a masterful collaboration with world-renowned French designer, Karl Lagerfeld. Chef Robuchon recently won the Excellence Award by Trip Advisor for having the best restaurant in Monte-Carlo.
