Hi, my name is Stephanie Afseth. I caught the travel bug on a family trip to the Dominican Republic in 2006, so I decided to make a career out of something I am passionate about. It’s hard to believe I’ve been the industry for nearly 9 years; I graduated in Saskatoon from the Universal Career College travel program in September 2008, with honors. I have been a part of the Uniglobe family since summer 2013.
Throughout the years I have earned different certificates in specialist courses, such as the Jamaica Travel Specialist, Disney College of Knowledge, AM Resorts Master Agent, Royal Caribbean University of WOW Expert Plus, Princess Cruise Commodore and Sandals Certified Specialist just to name a few. I have had my Certified Travel Counsellor designation since July 2014. Right now I am currently working on my Accredited Cruise Counsellor certification, to build my knowledge in the cruise industry.
I have been blessed with being able to travel the world. I’ve added a few new destinations to my docket in the last few years. In March 2016 I traveled throughout Costa Rica on a G Adventures group tour. It is a truly beautiful destination, and Arenal Volcano is a must see. So far, 2017 has taken me to Hong Kong, as well as Vietnam. The trip was a great mix of big city, and beautiful beaches. I’ve also spent time in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, and now have a new appreciation for the privileges we have here at home. Some other destinations that have added a stamp to my passport are Cancun and Mayan Riviera, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Ireland, Las Vegas and cruising. I have a great fondness for the relaxing vibe of Jamaica, the varied cultures of Amsterdam and London, and the unspoiled countryside of Laos.
I would love to help you plan your next vacation. I specialize in…
